Valcambi issued an innovative 50g gold investment bar, which comprises 50 detachable
1g bars, for the international market in April 2011.
The minted bar, known as Valcambi CombiBarTM is designed to facilitate the gifting
or transfer of small amounts of gold: either as a 50g bar, or as small groups of 1g bars,
or 50 separate 1g bars.
Each 50g bar is issued in a tamper-proof plastic sheath that contains a serial numbered assay certificate.
The Valcambi CombiBarTM is protected worldwide in terms of its name and appearance and
it can be developed and personalised for each individual counterparty. However it will only be produced by Valcambi.
