Valcambi at the 11th OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains
Representatives from Valcambi joined the 11th OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains that took place on 2- 4 May 2017 in Paris. The Forum is the flagship event for countries, business and civil society to advance implementation of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (OECD Guidance), the only international, government-backed standard for business to avoid contributing to conflict, serious human rights impacts, bribery, money-laundering and tax evasion though their mineral sourcing practices. This Edition of the Forum has been attended by more than 800 delegates. For Valcambi the Forum has been the occasion for continuing to nurture the constructive dialogue initiated with NGOS ad civil society organisations and for showcasing latest development made in terms of Due diligence for ASM, getting constructive feedback from interested counterparties.
